Hello new students, parents and guardians! I am SO excited to start the new year with a wonderful batch of brand new 4th graders! This is our daily blog where I will post the daily agenda, links to useful websites, and other tidbits of information. Feel free to browse through the tabs at the top of this 4B website! You will find information about our class discipline procedures and expectations, school menus, spelling and vocabulary words, math support, and eventually, even a daily schedule! (Stay tuned!) The main way I will be communicating with parents and guardians is through Remind. This is a free system that works either through text, or email to send large group, small group, or individual messages. It is kind of like a Tweet, in that there is a 40 character minimum for alerts. I plan to send reminders and bits of information as needed throughout the school year. There is also a chat feature which allows you to chat with me during my office hours with any questions or comments. I also have an email address at which you can contact me as well. It is [email protected] If you did not do so at Open House, please join our Class Remind Group by texting @4blake to the number 81010. You will get a response notifying you of a successful join. If you prefer to receive email alerts instead of texts, send a blank email to [email protected]. I tried not to bombard you with too many pieces of paper on this first night! Rest well, and I will see your students bright and early on Wednesday morning! |

AuthorHello! I am Mrs. Blake, and this is my second year teaching 4th grade at Brandon Elementary. I have 6 years of teaching experience, and a Masters in Education from Southwest Baptist University. My husband, Coach Blake, is a football coach for University of Sioux Falls. I love to watch his team play, as well as watch my students play sports, dance, do martial arts, sing, play an instrument - pretty much anything that they do! I have a daughter named, Grace, who will be 1 year old on October 28th, and she is THE BEST! Archives
