Your students will launch into their ecosystem performance task this week! First, they will be grouped with 2 or 3 other students and will come up with questions about their biome to guide their research. They will spend one class period looking for the answers to their questions using the websites below. We will continue on the following schedule:
Dec 7 - 11: Get groups and biome assignment. Discuss project expectations through examining the rubric. Online research.
Dec 14 - 18: More online research. Begin constructing poster.
Jan 4 - 8: Complete research. Complete poster.
Jan 11 - 15: Poster Due. Groups Present Ecosystem Poster and self/group assessment.
(Jan 14th - end of quarter.)
